Indications
Sufrexal Gel 2% is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that require the action of ketanserin, an agent that acts on serotonin receptors and has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. This gel is frequently used in the management of skin lesions, such as dermatitis, insect bites, minor burns, and other conditions that may benefit from its topical application. In addition, its effectiveness has been observed in reducing itching associated with inflammatory skin conditions.
Composition
Each 100 g of Sufrexal Gel contains: 2 g of Ketanserin, excipients q.s.p. 100 g.
Contraindications
This product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ketanserin or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended on areas with open wounds or severe skin infections.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Sufrexal Gel in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in people with pre-existing skin conditions. It is essential to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. It is recommended to consult a doctor before starting treatment, especially if other topical medications are being used.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
