Indications
Solutina F is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of nasal and ocular congestion associated with various conditions, such as allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis. The combination of pheniramine, an antihistamine, and naphazoline, a decongestant, helps relieve symptoms of itching, redness, and watery eyes, as well as nasal congestion, providing quick and effective relief. This medication is intended for use in adults and children over 12 years of age, always under the supervision of a physician.
Composition
Each ml of Solutina F contains: 3 mg pheniramine and 0.25 mg naphazoline. Excipients: purified water, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide.
Contraindications
Solutina F is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of narrow-angle glaucoma, severe cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, and in patients who are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them within the last two weeks.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in patients with heart disease, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and those being treated with antidepressants. Prolonged use should be avoided, as it can cause a rebound effect with nasal congestion. During pregnancy and lactation, a doctor should be consulted before use.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from direct light.
