Indications
Skudexa is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe acute pain, as well as for the management of postoperative pain and pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions. The combination of Tramadol, an opioid analgesic, and Dexketoprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides a synergistic effect in pain relief, improving the quality of life for patients suffering from intense pain. This medication is especially useful in situations where effective pain control is required, such as in traumatic injuries or during surgical procedures.
Composition
Each Skudexa tablet contains: 75 mg Tramadol and 25 mg Dexketoprofen. Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, in those with a history of drug abuse, severe respiratory insufficiency, and in patients with active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic or renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizures, moderate hepatic or renal disease. The use of Skudexa may increase the risk of adverse effects in the elderly or in patients who are taking other medications that affect the central nervous system. Regular patient monitoring is important to adjust the dose if necessary.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
