Indications

Sintaser is indicated for the treatment of various cardiovascular conditions, such as high blood pressure, angina pectoris, and arrhythmia. It is also used in the management of migraines and in the prevention of anxiety episodes. This medication acts as a non-selective beta-blocker, which helps decrease heart rate and blood pressure, thereby improving cardiovascular function and reducing the load on the heart in situations of stress or exertion.

Composition

Each Sintaser tablet contains 40 mg of propranolol as the active ingredient. Excipients may include lactose, starch, and other inert compounds that facilitate the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to propranolol or any of the excipients. It should not be administered in cases of severe bradycardia, second or third-degree heart block, uncontrolled heart failure, and bronchial asthma, among other conditions. Medical evaluation is essential before starting treatment.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular diseases. The use of Sintaser must be supervised by a physician, especially in the case of elderly patients or those who require discontinuation of treatment, as abrupt cessation can cause significant adverse effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
