Indications
Sinergix SL is a medication indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is composed of Tramadol, an opioid analgesic, and Ketorolac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). This product is useful in the management of postoperative pain, cancer pain, and acute pain, providing significant relief in situations where other analgesics may not be sufficient. Additionally, it can be used in patients with chronic pain, always under medical supervision. It is essential that the administration of the medication be carried out according to the healthcare professional's instructions, given that improper use can lead to adverse effects.
Composition
Each Sinergix SL tablet contains 25 mg of Tramadol and 10 mg of Ketorolac.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding. It should not be administered in cases of severe renal insufficiency or in patients who are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Its use in pregnant and breastfeeding women must be carefully evaluated by the treating physician.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of opioid addiction, seizure disorders, as well as in those with liver or kidney diseases. The administration of Sinergix SL must be monitored by a physician, especially in prolonged treatments. It is important to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it can increase the risk of adverse effects.
