Indications
Sinergix SL is a medication indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic moderate to severe pain. This medication combines two analgesics: Tramadol, an opioid that acts on the central nervous system, and Ketorolac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps reduce inflammation and pain. It is commonly used in patients requiring postoperative pain management, as well as for painful conditions such as arthritis or musculoskeletal injuries.
Composition
Each Sinergix SL tablet contains:
- Tramadol: 25 mg
- Ketorolac: 10 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, in those receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), and in patients with a history of active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding. Its use in patients with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency is not recommended.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of substance abuse, depression, or seizure disorders. It is important to monitor patients who experience symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, or confusion. Prolonged use of this medication without proper medical supervision is not recommended.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
