Indications
Sensibit Ped Solution is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, nasal itching, nasal congestion, and runny nose. It is also effective in the treatment of urticaria and other skin allergies. Loratadine works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance the body produces during an allergic reaction. It is recommended to consult a doctor to determine the need and appropriate dosage based on the specific case of the patient.
Composition
Each 5 mL of solution contains: Loratadine 10 mg. Excipients: purified water, sorbitol, citric acid, sodium benzoate, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to loratadine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency due to the lack of adequate studies in this population.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver diseases, as loratadine is metabolized in the liver. Concomitant use with other antihistamines or medications that may cause sedation should be avoided. In case of severe allergy symptoms or anaphylaxis, immediate medical attention should be sought. Additionally, a doctor should be consulted before administering the medication to children under 2 years of age.
Storage
Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 °C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
