Indications

Saletego 1% Drops are indicated for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin and mucous membranes, as well as in the management of dermatoses associated with fungal infections. It is effective in the treatment of tinea pedis, tinea corporis, candidiasis, and other superficial fungal infections. The action of eberconazole is based on its ability to inhibit the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, which results in the death of the fungus or stops its growth.

Composition

Each ml of Saletego 1% Drops contains: Eberconazole 10 mg. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, hydrochloric acid, among others.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to eberconazole or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless expressly indicated by a doctor.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other antifungals. In case of irritation or adverse reaction, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. It should not be applied to extensive areas of the skin or mucous membranes without medical supervision. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Storage

Store at room temperature, in a dry, cool place, away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
