Indications
Riopan Gel is used in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders related to hyperacidity, including symptoms of gastritis, reflux esophagitis, and gastric ulcers. It is recommended for the relief of heartburn and indigestion, as well as for the reduction of flatulence. The combined action of Magaldrate and Dimethicone neutralizes excess stomach acid and facilitates the expulsion of gases, providing a rapid and effective effect in the management of digestive discomfort.
Composition
Each sachet of Riopan Gel contains:
- Magaldrate: 80 mg
- Dimethicone: 10 mg
- Excipients: q.s.
Contraindications
The use of Riopan Gel is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should not be administered in cases of severe renal insufficiency or in patients with serious gastrointestinal diseases requiring immediate medical attention.
Precautions
It is recommended to use with caution in patients with a history of kidney disease or those who are undergoing treatment with medications that alter kidney function. It is suggested not to exceed the recommended dose and to consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen. This medication should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
