Indications
Repafet is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and ocular itching, as well as for the relief of urticarial symptoms. This medication acts as a selective antagonist of histamine H1 receptors, which helps to reduce the allergic response in the body.
Composition
Each Repafet tablet contains 10 mg of Rupatadine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the formulation and stability of the product.
Contraindications
Repafet is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Rupatadine or to any of the excipients of the product. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiac rhythm disorders, as well as in those taking medications that may prolong the QT interval. It is important to avoid combining Repafet with alcohol and other central nervous system depressants, as it may enhance their sedative effects.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place and out of the reach of children. Avoid exposure to direct light and humidity.
