Indications

Repafet 10 mg is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and ocular itching, as well as nasal congestion. In addition, it is used to relieve the symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria. Rupatadine acts as an antagonist of histamine H1 receptors, which helps reduce the body's allergic response.

Composition

Each Repafet tablet contains 10 mg of rupatadine as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Repafet is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to rupatadine or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal impairment or in those who are undergoing treatment with certain medications that may interact significantly.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Repafet to patients with a history of seizures, liver disease, or those who consume alcohol, as this may increase the risk of adverse effects. It is suggested to assess the patient's condition before starting treatment and during its use. In case of adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15-30 ºC) in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
