Indications
Primogyn is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with estrogen deficiency, which may include hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disorders, and mood changes. It is also used in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in postmenopausal women to prevent osteoporosis. Additionally, it may be indicated in cases of menstrual irregularities and as part of the treatment for certain conditions related to the menstrual cycle.
Composition
Each Primogyn tablet contains 2 mg of estradiol valerate as the active ingredient. Excipients include: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Primogyn should not be used in patients with a history of breast cancer, endometrial cancer, or any estrogen-dependent neoplasia. It is contraindicated in women with deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, active liver disease, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, and in those with hypersensitivity to the components of the medication.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, as well as in those who smoke, as this may increase the risk of thromboembolic events. Regular medical follow-up during treatment with Primogyn is important, and the risk-benefit ratio should be evaluated in each particular case.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
