Indications
Prilver is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. It is also used to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular death in high-risk patients, which includes patients with established coronary artery disease, diabetes mellitus, or peripheral vascular disease. Additionally, it is used in the management of congestive heart failure, as it helps improve cardiac function and reduce the load on the heart.
Composition
Each tablet contains 2.5 mg of ramipril as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
Prilver is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ramipril or any other angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI). It should not be used in patients with a history of angioedema associated with ACEI treatment and in those with bilateral renal artery stenosis or renal artery stenosis in a single kidney. Its use is also contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of angioedema, dehydration, hypovolemia, or kidney disease. It is advisable to monitor kidney function and electrolytes during treatment. Diabetic patients who are under treatment with medications affecting kidney function should be carefully monitored.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
