Indications
Prednefrin Sf 1% Drops are indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory ocular conditions. It is used in cases of allergic conjunctivitis, uveitis, and other conditions that require anti-inflammatory treatment. This medication helps reduce inflammation, redness, and itching in the eyes, providing relief to patients suffering from ophthalmic discomfort. Prednisolone, its active ingredient, acts by inhibiting the body's inflammatory response, resulting in an improvement of the symptoms associated with these conditions.
Composition
Each milliliter of Prednefrin Sf 1% Drops contains 10 mg of prednisolone, as well as excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the product. It is important to consult the product packaging for the complete list of excipients.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to prednisolone or any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in cases of untreated viral, fungal, or bacterial eye infections, as well as in patients with uncontrolled glaucoma. Its use should be carefully evaluated in patients with systemic diseases that may be affected by the use of corticosteroids.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Prednefrin Sf 1% Drops under strict medical supervision, especially in patients with a history of ocular herpes simplex, cardiovascular diseases, or diabetes.
