Indications
Pramigel is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, including dyspepsia, which manifests as a feeling of fullness, early satiety, nausea, and vomiting. Metoclopramide acts as an antiemetic and promotes gastric emptying, while aluminum, magnesium, and simethicone contribute to the reduction of stomach acidity and relieve flatulence. This medication is useful in cases of gastritis and in the management of symptoms associated with functional dyspepsia.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Metoclopramide 10 mg, Aluminum 200 mg, Magnesium 200 mg, Simethicone 40 mg.
Contraindications
Pramigel is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, in those with a history of severe adverse reactions to metoclopramide, as well as in patients with intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal perforation, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, pheochromocytoma, and in patients with uncontrolled epilepsy. Its use is not recommended in people with Parkinson's disease.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Pramigel in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as dose adjustments may be required. Likewise, it is recommended to evaluate the risk of adverse effects in elderly patients and in those who are taking other medications that may interact with the components of Pramigel. Prolonged use should be avoided due to the risk of developing extrapyramidal effects.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
