Indications

Phlebodia 600 mg is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency, such as a feeling of heaviness, pain, cramps, and fatigue in the legs. It is also used in the treatment of hemorrhoids, both in the acute phase and for prevention. Diosmin, its active ingredient, works by improving venous tone and reducing capillary permeability, thus helping to improve microcirculation. This medication can be considered for patients with varicose veins or those who work long hours standing, as well as for pregnant women in the second and third trimesters to relieve discomfort associated with venous insufficiency.

Composition

Each Phlebodia 600 mg tablet contains 600 mg of diosmin as the active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and other excipients.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diosmin or any of the excipients. Its use is not recommended in children and adolescents under 18 years of age, nor in patients with severe liver or kidney diseases without proper medical supervision.

Precautions

It is important to exercise caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as those with renal insufficiency. It is recommended to consult a doctor before starting treatment if other medications are being taken or if there is any pre-existing medical condition.

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
