Indications
Phesgo is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with HER2-positive breast cancer, in combination with chemotherapy. This medication is used in the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Its use is recommended in patients who have not received previous treatment for their metastatic disease or in those who have received adjuvant treatment for HER2-positive breast cancer and who have relapsed within six months after completing said treatment. Phesgo is a therapeutic option to improve treatment efficacy in these conditions.
Composition
Each Phesgo vial contains: Pertuzumab 1200 mg, Trastuzumab 600 mg, Hyaluronidase 15 ml.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Pertuzumab, Trastuzumab, Hyaluronidase, or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use should also be avoided in patients with a history of anaphylactic reactions to these components.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart disease, as there may be a risk of left ventricular dysfunction. Additionally, it is important to monitor cardiac function before and during treatment. It is advisable to assess the patient's general health status and conduct continuous monitoring during treatment with Phesgo.
Storage
Store refrigerated between 2 °C and 8 °C. Do not freeze. Keep the vial in its original packaging to protect it from light. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
