Indications

Pezzil is indicated for the treatment of patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. This medication acts as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, which helps to increase acetylcholine levels in the brain, thereby improving cognitive functions and memory in affected patients. The use of Pezzil may be considered in patients with mild cognitive impairment, always under the supervision of a specialist physician.

Composition

Each Pezzil tablet contains 10 mg of donepezil and excipients necessary for its formulation. Excipients are inactive substances that facilitate the administration and absorption of the active ingredient.

Contraindications

Pezzil is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to donepezil or any of the excipients in the formulation. Additionally, its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe adverse reactions to other acetylcholinesterase inhibitors.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as well as in those with a history of peptic ulcer or seizures. It is important to monitor cardiac function in patients with a history of bradycardia or heart block. Dose adjustment is recommended in patients with moderate to severe hepatic or renal insufficiency.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
