Indications

Patanol (Olopatadine) is indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis in adults and children over 3 years of age. This medication acts as an antiallergic, helping to reduce itching, redness, and watery eyes caused by allergic reactions. Its mechanism of action is based on the inhibition of the release of inflammatory mediators, which helps to alleviate ocular discomfort associated with allergies.

Composition

Each mL of Patanol contains: Olopatadine (as hydrochloride) 1 mg (0.1%). Excipients: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, purified water.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to olopatadine or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people who experience any adverse reaction to this type of medication.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Patanol in patients who wear contact lenses, as it is necessary to wait at least 10 minutes after applying the drops before inserting the lenses. Furthermore, prolonged use without medical supervision is not recommended. It is suggested to avoid contact of the dropper with surfaces that could contaminate it.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
