Indications

Patanol 0.1% Drops are indicated for the treatment of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis, including itching, redness, and watery eyes. This medication acts as an antihistamine, relieving allergic symptoms by blocking the action of histamine, a substance released during an allergic reaction. Its use is appropriate for adults and children over three years of age who experience these symptoms associated with seasonal or perennial allergies.

Composition

Each milliliter of Patanol Drops contains 1 mg of olopatadine as the active ingredient. Additionally, excipients such as sodium chloride, disodium phosphate, hydrochloric acid, and purified water are included to allow for the proper formulation of the product as an ophthalmic solution.

Contraindications

Patanol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to olopatadine or any of the components of the formula. Likewise, its use is not recommended in patients with active eye infections, as it could worsen the condition. Caution should be exercised in people with a history of serious eye diseases.

Precautions

It is important to avoid contact of the dropper with any surface to prevent contamination of the product. After administering the drops, it is advisable not to touch your eyes and to wash your hands properly. In case of experiencing any adverse effects or allergic reaction, discontinue use and consult a doctor. In addition, it should be used with caution in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in patients with cardiovascular diseases or those using other ophthalmic medications.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
