Indications

Oxital-C Effervescent is indicated for the prevention and treatment of dietary vitamin C deficiencies. It is useful in cases of increased requirement for this vitamin, such as during infections, stress, convalescence periods, and situations of high metabolic demand. Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation, iron absorption, and proper immune system function. It has also been used in the treatment of the common cold and as an antioxidant, helping to neutralize free radicals in the body.

Composition

Each effervescent tablet contains: Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 2000 mg.

Contraindications

This product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to vitamin C or any other component of the formulation. Caution should be exercised in those with a history of kidney stones, as high doses of vitamin C can increase the risk of calcium oxalate formation in the urine.

Precautions

It should be used with caution in people with kidney disease or renal insufficiency, as well as in those undergoing anticoagulant therapy. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions regarding the dose and duration of treatment, as excessive use of vitamin C can lead to adverse effects, including diarrhea and gastrointestinal discomfort.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
