Indications
Oxital-C is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency in various clinical conditions. It is used in patients with an increased need for vitamin C, such as in cases of infections, chronic diseases, and situations of physical or emotional stress. It is also used as an adjunct in the treatment of diseases like scurvy and in recovery from surgical procedures. Furthermore, ascorbic acid plays an important role in collagen synthesis, making it essential for the health of skin, tissues, and bones.
Composition
Each Oxital-C tablet contains 1G of ascorbic acid as the active ingredient. Additionally, it includes appropriate excipients to facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ascorbic acid or any of the formulation's components. Caution should also be exercised in patients with severe kidney disorders, as ascorbic acid can accumulate and cause adverse effects.
Precautions
Administer Oxital-C with caution in patients with a history of kidney stones or intestinal absorption disorders. Additionally, it should be considered that high doses of ascorbic acid can interfere with laboratory tests, such as urine glucose tests. It is important to avoid excessive use of this product, as it may result in gastrointestinal adverse effects.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
