Indications

Orlin is indicated for the treatment of asthma attacks and chronic obstructive respiratory diseases. Its bronchodilating action is useful in patients experiencing symptoms of respiratory distress. Additionally, it is used in the management of respiratory disorders in neonates and infants, as well as in the treatment of certain cardiac arrhythmias. It must be administered under medical supervision, ensuring that the patient receives appropriate treatment according to their clinical condition.

Composition

Each Orlin ampoule contains 0.5 mg of Orciprenaline in 1 ml of solution. Excipients: water for injection, sodium chloride, and hydrochloric acid.

Contraindications

Orlin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Orciprenaline or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of severe tachycardia, uncontrolled cardiac arrhythmias, or in patients with conditions such as pheochromocytoma. Its use should be avoided in patients with uncontrolled hypertension or those receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with pre-existing cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, and in those who require simultaneous use of other bronchodilators. It is important to monitor the patient's response to treatment and adjust the dose as necessary. This medication may cause adverse effects such as palpitations, tremor, and anxiety, which should be reported to the treating physician.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the package.
