Indications
Orecil NF is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions of the external and middle ear, as well as for the prevention and treatment of bacterial infections in patients with conditions that predispose to otitis. It is useful in cases of otitis externa and otitis media, providing significant symptomatic relief thanks to its active components. Lidocaine acts as a local anesthetic, while ofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that fights bacterial infections. Hydrocortisone, a corticosteroid, helps reduce inflammation and itching associated with these conditions.
Composition
Each ml of Orecil NF contains:
- Lidocaine: 10 mg
- Ofloxacin: 3 mg
- Hydrocortisone: 2.5 mg
Contraindications
Orecil NF should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It is contraindicated in cases of viral, fungal, or tuberculous infections of the ear. Likewise, its use is not recommended in patients with a perforated eardrum without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Orecil NF in patients with a history of allergic reactions to local anesthetics or antibiotics. It is important to avoid contact of the dropper with the ear or contaminated surfaces to prevent infections. Prolonged use can lead to bacterial resistance; therefore, it is recommended to follow the doctor's instructions.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.
