Indications
Onemer SL is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe acute pain, as well as for the management of postoperative pain. It can also be used in the treatment of painful conditions such as dysmenorrhea, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal ailments. This medication works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, compounds responsible for inflammation and pain, providing symptomatic relief.
Composition
Each tablet contains 30 mg of ketorolac tromethamine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Onemer SL is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergic reactions to ketorolac or other NSAIDs. It should not be administered to patients with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal failure, or severe heart disease. Likewise, it is contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy and during lactation.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Onemer SL with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems, asthma, hypertension, hepatic or renal insufficiency. It is important to monitor patients on prolonged treatment to avoid adverse effects. It should not be combined with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants without medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
