Indications
Nytol is indicated for the treatment of allergy symptoms, such as allergic rhinitis, urticaria, and other allergic conditions. It is also used for the prevention and treatment of occasional insomnia, as diphenhydramine has sedative properties. It is useful in managing common cold symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy nose or throat. Additionally, it can be used for the relief of nausea and dizziness, especially in cases of motion sickness.
Composition
Each Nytol tablet contains 50 mg of diphenhydramine as the active ingredient. Excipients: starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diphenhydramine or any of the formula's components. It should not be administered in cases of closed-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, severe obstructive pulmonary diseases, and in patients undergoing treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) due to the possibility of drug interactions.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Nytol in patients with cardiovascular disease, hypertension, asthma, or those who consume alcohol. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical supervision. Drowsiness can affect the ability to drive and operate machinery, so these activities should be avoided after taking the medication.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
