Indications
Noxavil Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of ocular infections due to microorganisms sensitive to levofloxacin, as well as for the management of inflammatory conditions of the eye and its adnexa. It is used in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, and other ocular infections. Additionally, dexamethasone acts as an anti-inflammatory, helping to reduce inflammation and edema in ophthalmic conditions. Its use is recommended under medical supervision to ensure the appropriateness of the therapy and monitoring of treatment response.
Composition
Each ml of Noxavil Eye Drops contains: Levofloxacin 5 mg and Dexamethasone 1 mg, excipients q.s. 1 ml.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the product's components, as well as in those with viral, fungal, or tuberculous eye infections. Its use is not recommended in individuals with a history of severe adverse reactions to other fluoroquinolones.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of eye diseases, as well as in those who use contact lenses. It is important to avoid manipulating the dropper bottle with the tip in contact with any surface, including the eye surface, to prevent contamination of the product. Prolonged use without medical evaluation is not recommended.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
