Indications

Novolexin is indicated for the treatment of various gastric and esophageal conditions, including:

  • Gastric and duodenal ulcers.
  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
  • Erosive esophagitis caused by reflux.
  • Treatment and prevention of ulcers induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
  • Eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics.

Composition

Each Novolexin capsule contains:

  • Omeprazole: 40 mg
  • Excipients: Lactose, starch, talc, among others.

Contraindications

Novolexin is contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Hypersensitivity to omeprazole or any of the components of the formula.
  • Patients with a history of severe allergic reactions.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in the following cases:

  • Patients with severe liver disease.
  • In case of peptic ulcer symptoms, malignancy must be ruled out before starting treatment.
  • Use in elderly patients, as well as those with a history of kidney problems.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
