Indications
Nogaslan is indicated for the treatment of diseases related to excessive gastric acid production. It is used in the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which is characterized by inflammation of the esophagus due to contact with stomach acid. In addition, it is effective in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as in the prevention of ulcers induced by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in at-risk patients. Pantoprazole works by inhibiting the proton pump in the parietal cells of the stomach, thereby reducing acid secretion and promoting the healing of esophageal and gastric lesions.
Composition
Each Nogaslan tablet contains 40 mg of pantoprazole as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pantoprazole or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of severe liver disease.
Precautions
Monitoring is recommended in patients with moderate to severe hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those who present alarming symptoms related to the gastrointestinal system. It is important to consider that long-term use of proton pump inhibitors may be associated with an increased risk of bone fractures and vitamin B12 deficiencies.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
