Indications
Nexus H is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. The combination of Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic, acts synergistically to reduce blood pressure, improving long-term cardiovascular prognosis. This medication can be used as initial therapy or as additional treatment in patients who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with monotherapy. Furthermore, it is effective in reducing the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with hypertension and concomitant risk factors.
Composition
Each Nexus H tablet contains:
Amlodipine 5 mg
Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg
Contraindications
Nexus H is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of angioedema related to previous treatments with angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It is also contraindicated in patients with anuria and in those with untreated severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver disease, heart failure, or those who are being treated with other antihypertensives. It is important to monitor renal function and electrolytes during treatment. Regular blood pressure monitoring is recommended to ensure adequate control.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
