Indications
Nexus 5 mg is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension. It is also used in the management of both stable and unstable angina pectoris, improving blood flow to the heart and reducing its workload. This medication acts as a calcium channel blocker, which allows the relaxation of blood vessels and the reduction of peripheral vascular resistance. Its use is indicated for adults and can be administered as monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensives, as determined by the treating physician.
Composition
Each Nexus tablet contains: Amlodipine 5 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: Lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and others.
Contraindications
Nexus is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to amlodipine or any component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of cardiogenic shock, severe heart failure, or severe aortic stenosis. Its use should be avoided in patients with a history of unstable angina pectoris or recent myocardial infarction.
Precautions
Caution is advised in patients with liver disease, kidney failure, or pre-existing heart conditions. The dose should be adjusted in patients over 65 years of age, and blood pressure should be monitored regularly. The risk of hypotension should be evaluated in patients receiving concomitant treatment with other antihypertensives.

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
