Indications

Nevanac (Nepafenac) is indicated for the treatment of postoperative pain and inflammation in patients who have undergone cataract surgery. This medication acts as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), relieving ocular inflammation and pain, contributing to a more comfortable recovery for the patient. Its use is recommended before and after surgery, following the instructions of the treating physician.

Composition

Each ml of Nevanac contains: Nepafenac 1 mg (0.1%), excipients q.s. 1 ml.

Contraindications

Nevanac is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to nepafenac or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of uncontrolled ocular infections, as well as in patients with a history of severe adverse reactions to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of corneal diseases or previous eye surgery. It is advisable to avoid the use of contact lenses during treatment, and not to touch the tip of the dropper with any surface to prevent contamination. If symptoms of adverse reactions occur, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
