Indications
Neparvis is indicated for the treatment of chronic heart failure in adult patients. This medication is used to improve survival, reduce hospitalizations, and improve the quality of life of patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. Neparvis acts by inhibiting the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and inhibiting neprilysin, which results in vasodilation and reduced blood pressure.
Composition
Each Neparvis tablet contains 50 mg of sacubitril and 50 mg of valsartan as active ingredients. Excipients include lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, and other inactive components that facilitate tablet formulation.
Contraindications
Neparvis is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sacubitril, valsartan, or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of angioedema associated with previous treatments with ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor blockers. It should not be administered in cases of severe renal failure or in patients with severe liver diseases.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis, hypotension, hyperkalemia, and in those with a history of angioedema. Renal function and serum potassium levels should also be monitored during treatment. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Storage
Store in its original packaging, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
