Indications
Neotrex (Isotretinoin) is indicated for the treatment of severe nodular acne that has not responded to conventional therapies, including oral and topical antibiotics. Its use is recommended for patients with cystic acne or acne that presents a risk of permanent scarring. Isotretinoin works by reducing sebum production and promoting the normalization of keratinization in hair follicles, which helps decrease the number of inflammatory and non-inflammatory lesions.
Composition
Each capsule contains 20 mg of isotretinoin and appropriate excipients for its formulation. It is recommended to check the leaflet for a detailed list of the excipients used.
Contraindications
Neotrex is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to isotretinoin or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women, as it can cause congenital malformations. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe liver disease, uncontrolled hyperlipidemias, and in those taking tetracyclines.
Precautions
Liver function tests and lipid profile should be performed before and during treatment with Neotrex. Patients are advised to avoid excessive sun exposure and the use of irritating skin products during treatment. Women of childbearing potential must use effective contraception during treatment and for at least one month after its completion, due to the risk of teratogenicity.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
