Indications

Moveloc (Propofol) is indicated for the induction and maintenance of general anesthesia in adult and pediatric patients. It is also used as a sedative in diagnostic and surgical procedures in adults, as well as in patients requiring mechanical ventilation in intensive care units. The use of Propofol allows for rapid recovery and a return to normal activity compared to other anesthetic agents. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a trained healthcare professional, who will determine the appropriate dose and method of administration based on the patient's specific characteristics.

Composition

Each 200 mg/20 ml Moveloc ampoule contains Propofol as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.

Contraindications

Moveloc is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Propofol or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of anaphylaxis to general anesthetic agents or in those with severe cardiovascular or respiratory system dysfunction.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in patients with cardiovascular or respiratory diseases, or in those with a history of seizures. Administration should be performed by a healthcare professional familiar with anesthesia management and patient monitoring during the procedure. Adequate vigilance during post-anesthetic recovery is recommended.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
