Indications
Motilium is indicated for the treatment of nausea and vomiting, as well as for the treatment of dyspepsia in patients presenting with symptoms of gastric fullness, early satiety, flatulence, or epigastric pain. This medication is useful in the management of symptoms related to functional gastrointestinal disorders. Furthermore, it is used in the treatment of gastric motility disorders and in the prevention of nausea and vomiting induced by medical treatments, such as chemotherapy.
Composition
Each Motilium tablet contains 10 mg of domperidone as the active ingredient, along with inert excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
Motilium is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to domperidone or any of the product's excipients. It is also contraindicated in patients with hemorrhagic gastrointestinal diseases, mechanical obstruction, or intestinal perforation. Its use is not recommended in individuals with severe liver disease and in those with a prolactin-producing pituitary tumor.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Motilium in patients with mild to moderate liver disease, as domperidone metabolism may be affected. Likewise, it is recommended to monitor patients who are receiving concomitant treatment with medications that prolong the QT interval or those with a history of cardiac arrhythmias. Prolonged use of the medication should be avoided.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
