Indications

Milda is indicated for the treatment and prevention of vitamin D deficiency, especially in situations where there is decreased sun exposure or in patients with increased needs for this nutrient. It is used for the correction of metabolic bone disorders, such as osteoporosis and rickets, as well as in patients with diseases affecting intestinal absorption, such as celiac disease or inflammatory bowel disease. Additionally, Milda may be useful in the management of hypoparathyroidism and in the prevention of falls in older adults, as vitamin D plays a crucial role in bone and muscle health.

Composition

Each Milda capsule contains cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) as an active ingredient, along with excipients that ensure the correct formulation and stability of the product. It is important to follow medical instructions for proper dosage.

Contraindications

Milda is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, or granulomatous diseases that may increase vitamin D production. Its use should be evaluated in cases of severe renal insufficiency.

Precautions

Caution is recommended when administering Milda to patients with cardiovascular diseases, kidney pathologies, or those undergoing treatment with thiazide diuretics, as these may increase the risk of hypercalcemia. It is essential to monitor blood calcium and phosphorus levels during treatment. Likewise, regular medical evaluation should be considered.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
