Indications
Miccil (Bumetanide) is indicated in the treatment of conditions requiring effective fluid retention management, such as: - Edema associated with congestive heart failure. - Edema due to liver diseases, such as cirrhosis. - Edema in patients with kidney diseases, including nephritic syndrome. - Arterial hypertension (as complementary treatment).
Bumetanide acts by increasing the urinary excretion of water and electrolytes, which helps reduce the body's fluid volume, thus improving the signs and symptoms related to fluid retention.
Composition
Each Miccil tablet contains 1 mg of Bumetanide as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
Miccil is contraindicated in patients with: - Known hypersensitivity to bumetanide or to any of the excipients. - Anuria (inability to produce urine). - Severe dehydration. - Hypovolemia or conditions that may worsen dehydration.
Precautions
Caution is recommended when administering Miccil in the following cases: - Patients with kidney or liver disease. - Patients with diabetes mellitus or gout. - Elderly, who may be more susceptible to the effects of bumetanide. - Monitor blood electrolytes, especially potassium, during treatment.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep in a dry place and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
