Indications

Metadiemil is indicated for the treatment of cognitive and memory alterations in patients with neurological disorders. It is used in the management of conditions such as dementia, cognitive impairment, and other disorders related to brain function. In addition, it is used in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, improving blood circulation in the brain and promoting functional recovery. This medication has also been indicated for the treatment of myasthenia gravis and as part of the treatment of side effects of neurosurgery. The combination of Piracetam and Dihydroergocristine enhances neuroprotective effects and improves learning and memory capacity in patients with cognitive deficiencies.

Composition

Each 100 mL of solution contains:
Piracetam 20 g
Dihydroergocristine 0.0375 g
Excipients: purified water, hydrochloric acid, and other excipients necessary for product formulation.

Contraindications

Metadiemil should not be administered to patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. It is contraindicated in cases of cerebral hemorrhage and in patients with severe renal insufficiency. Likewise, its use is not recommended in patients with a history of uncontrolled epilepsy.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Metadiemil to patients with moderate renal insufficiency. It is important to monitor renal function and adjust the dose if necessary. In addition, caution should be exercised in patients with a history of bleeding disorders.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
