Indications
Medamestroid Ung 1% is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that require anti-inflammatory and antipruritic treatment. It is used in the management of atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, and other inflammatory skin conditions. Its efficacy is based on its ability to relieve symptoms such as redness, itching, and inflammation.
Composition
Each 100 g of ointment contains:
- Mometasone 1 g
- Excipients: Petrolatum, lanolin, and others
Contraindications
Medamestroid Ung 1% is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to mometasone or to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in untreated viral, fungal, or bacterial skin infections. Likewise, its use is not recommended in areas with open lesions or on skin with acne.
Precautions
It is recommended to use this medicine under strict medical supervision, especially in prolonged treatments. Care should be taken when applying to skin folds and large areas of the skin. Do not apply to mucous membranes or eyes. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
