Indications
Lysomucil Sni (Acetylcysteine) is indicated for the treatment of respiratory conditions that require the reduction of mucus viscosity. It is used in cases of acute and chronic bronchitis, as well as in chronic obstructive airway diseases. It is also indicated in the management of mucus associated with respiratory infections and as an adjunct in detoxification therapy for paracetamol overdose, due to its ability to restore glutathione levels in the liver.
Composition
Each Lysomucil Sni ampoule contains 100 mg of Acetylcysteine in a volume of 3 ml, in addition to excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Acetylcysteine or to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of active peptic ulcer, asthma, or severe respiratory diseases without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as well as in those at risk of hemorrhage. In patients with liver or kidney disease, it is recommended to adjust the dosage and perform adequate monitoring.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
