Indications

Lysomucil 600 mg is indicated for the treatment of respiratory disorders associated with excessive mucus secretion. Its use is suitable in conditions such as:

  • Chronic bronchitis
  • Bronchial asthma with mucus hyperproduction
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases
  • Pneumonia
  • Cystic fibrosis

In addition, Lysomucil is used to aid in mucus dissolution, facilitating its expulsion and improving the patient's breathing. It may also be indicated as part of the treatment for paracetamol poisoning, due to its ability to restore glutathione levels in the liver.

Composition

Each Lysomucil tablet contains:

  • Acetylcysteine 600 mg

Contraindications

Lysomucil is contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or any of the product's excipients.
  • Severe liver diseases.
  • Bronchial asthma in patients with a history of bronchospasm.

Precautions

Precautions should be taken in patients with a history of gastric or duodenal ulcers, as well as in those with asthma. It is advisable to monitor patients with chronic respiratory diseases, as the use of Lysomucil may cause bronchospasm in some cases.

Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
