Indications

Lorelin is indicated in the treatment of various medical conditions related to hormonal regulation. Its use is common in the management of certain types of cancer, such as prostate cancer, as well as in the treatment of endometriosis and uterine fibroids. Leuprorelin acts as a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analog, which causes a decrease in the production of sex hormones, helping to control the progression of these diseases. It should be used under strict medical supervision and in the context of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Composition

Each Lorelin ampule contains 3.75 mg of leuprorelin.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to leuprorelin or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in cases of untreated hormone-dependent diseases.

Precautions

Regular medical follow-up is important during treatment with Lorelin. Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis, or conditions that may be affected by the reduction of sex hormones. A careful evaluation of the risks and benefits is suggested before starting treatment.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. Keep the product in its original packaging and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
