Indications
Lorelin is indicated for the treatment of various hormonal and oncological conditions. It is used in the management of advanced prostate cancer, as well as in the treatment of endometriosis and uterine fibroids. Leuprorelin acts as a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analogue, resulting in a reduction of testosterone levels in men and estrogen levels in women. This can help control the growth of cancer cells dependent on these hormones and relieve the symptoms associated with the aforementioned conditions.
Composition
Each ampoule contains:
- Leuprorelin (as acetate) 11.25 mg
- Excipients: hydrochloric acid, water for injection.
Contraindications
Lorelin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to leuprorelin or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered during pregnancy or lactation, or in patients with a history of venous thromboembolism. Additionally, its use is not recommended in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Lorelin to patients with a history of hormonal disorders, bone diseases, and those who have previously received hormone therapy. Regular medical follow-up during treatment is important to assess clinical response and adjust the dose if necessary. Specialist medical supervision is recommended during its use.

Store at a controlled temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
