Indications
Lobivon is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. Its main action is based on reducing heart rate and peripheral vascular resistance, which contributes to lowering blood pressure. Furthermore, it can be used in patients with stable chronic heart failure as part of combination therapy. This medication may also be useful in preventing cardiovascular events in high-risk patients, although a complete clinical evaluation should be considered before its use.
Composition
Each Lobivon tablet contains 5 mg of Nebivolol as the active ingredient. Excipients include: lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Lobivon is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Nebivolol or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of severe bradycardia, second or third-degree heart block, decompensated heart failure, severe asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or in patients with cardiogenic shock.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with diabetes, as this medication may mask the symptoms of hypoglycemia. Additionally, kidney function should be evaluated before starting treatment, as dose adjustments may be required. It is important to consider gradual discontinuation of treatment to avoid a possible rebound effect on blood pressure.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, in its original packaging and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
