Indications
Liviaxan is indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections caused by fungi and bacteria, as well as for the relief of pain and irritation associated with these conditions. The active components, such as tioconazole, exert an antifungal action, while tinidazole acts as an antimicrobial agent. Lidocaine provides a local anesthetic effect, helping to reduce discomfort in the affected area. This product is useful in the management of conditions such as vaginal candidiasis and bacterial vaginosis, promoting the restoration of microbial balance in the vaginal flora.
Composition
Each Liviaxan ovule contains: 200 mg of Tioconazole, 300 mg of Tinidazole and 100 mg of Lidocaine. Excipients are used to form the base of the ovule and facilitate its administration.
Contraindications
Liviaxan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without prior medical consultation. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of severe adverse reactions to antifungal medications or local anesthetics.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Liviaxan in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may interact with the components of this product. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions and not exceed the recommended dose.
