Indications
Libertrim Sii is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal disorders that present with abdominal pain and distension. Its formulation combines the action of trimebutine, an intestinal motility modulator that helps regulate bowel function, and simethicone, an anti-flatulent agent that facilitates the elimination of gases. This medication is useful in the management of symptoms associated with conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, functional dyspepsia, and other gastrointestinal disorders where distension and pain are predominant.
Composition
Each Libertrim Sii tablet contains: 200 mg of Trimebutine and 75 mg of Simethicone.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of intestinal obstruction or in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to any of its ingredients.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of severe gastrointestinal disorders or chronic diseases. It is important to assess intestinal function before starting treatment. In case of persistent symptoms, a doctor should be consulted. The use of this medication during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
