Indications
Libertrim is indicated in the treatment of functional gastrointestinal disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome and functional dyspepsia. It is used to relieve symptoms related to intestinal transit, such as abdominal pain, bloating, and changes in bowel movement frequency. Trimebutine acts as an intestinal transit regulator, which helps normalize both hypermotility and hypomotility. Additionally, it can be used in the preparation for certain diagnostic procedures in the gastrointestinal tract in patients requiring adequate control of gastrointestinal symptoms before such procedures.
Composition
Each ampoule of Libertrim contains:
- Trimebutine 50 mg
- Excipients: water for injection q.s.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to trimebutine or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of intestinal obstruction or active ulcerative colitis.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of severe gastrointestinal diseases. In case of developing symptoms such as fever, bleeding, or unintentional weight loss, treatment should be discontinued, and a doctor should be consulted. Use in pregnant or breastfeeding women is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
