Indications
Libertrim is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders that present symptoms of abdominal pain and intestinal motor dysfunction. This medication is used to relieve intestinal cramps and spasms, as well as to improve gastrointestinal motility in conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome and other functional disorders of the digestive system. Trimebutine works by regulating the motor activity of the intestine, providing an antispasmodic effect and facilitating gas elimination, which can contribute to the patient's well-being.
Composition
Each Libertrim tablet contains 100 mg of trimebutine as the active ingredient. Excipients: corn starch, stearic acid, talc, and others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to trimebutine or to any of the product's excipients. It should also be avoided in cases of intestinal obstruction and in patients with severe intestinal diseases.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Libertrim with caution in patients with a history of severe gastrointestinal diseases and in those with concomitant medical conditions that may affect intestinal motility. It is important to monitor the response to treatment and adjust the dose as needed. Prolonged use without medical supervision is not recommended.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
