Indications
Legalon is indicated as an adjuvant treatment for various liver conditions. It is used for the prevention and treatment of liver diseases, including hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver toxicity. This medication helps protect liver cells against damage caused by toxins, medications, alcohol, and other harmful agents. Additionally, Silybum Marianum has been shown to have antioxidant properties that contribute to improved liver function and regeneration of liver cells. Its use is recommended for patients with chronic liver diseases and those who have been exposed to risk factors that can affect liver health.
Composition
Each Legalon tablet contains 70 mg of standardized extract of Silybum Marianum (milk thistle), which primarily includes silymarin as the active ingredient. This compound is responsible for the hepatoprotective and antioxidant properties of the medication.
Contraindications
Legalon is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of biliary obstruction or severe end-stage liver diseases.
Precautions
Precautions should be taken in patients with severe liver diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may affect liver function. Regular medical monitoring is suggested during treatment with Legalon.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature (between 15°C and 30°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
